Dr Mike He
Dr Mike He is a Surgical Oncologist/General Surgeon having undertaken his general surgery training in Shanghai and Wellington prior
to completing his advanced surgical training in Canberra.
Mike was awarded his PhD degree from The University of Otago in 2004 for his successful research in the mechanisms of angiogenesis, which plays critical roles in cancer development. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2012. He has further had post- fellowship training in Surgical Oncology specializing in Breast cancer, Melanoma and Sarcoma at the Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. Mike works in both private and public hospitals and he will take referrals for both private and public patients.

ACT Day Hospital will initially provide Interventional Pain Procedures and Fasciomaxillary Procedures under Intravenous Sedation/General Anaesthesia with the aim to include ophthalmic surgeries, gynaecological procedures and general/plastic surgical procedures appropriate for our day hospital over the next 6-12 months. We have strong interest from our surgical colleagues.
